Ski areál Rališka ski resort

Ski areál Rališka is a micro-resort suited only to absolute beginners and families with very young children seeking a low-pressure introduction to skiing within the Czech Republic. With just 1.2 km of piste, a 124 m vertical drop, and five easy runs plus one intermediate, this is not a destination for progression or varied terrain. The resort's main strength is accessibility and affordability for locals and regional visitors looking for a convenient weekend outing rather than a serious ski holiday.

The critical caveat is snow reliability: at 14/100, conditions are highly variable and unpredictable, meaning many visits will be compromised or cancelled. The base elevation of 604 m is low for Central Europe, leaving the resort vulnerable to rain and thaw. Off-piste opportunities are negligible (1/5 rating), so you are entirely dependent on the groomed runs. The day pass at CZK 1200 is expensive relative to the terrain on offer - you are paying for convenience and proximity, not volume or quality of skiing.

We would only recommend Rališka if you live within an hour's drive, have very young children or complete beginners in your group, and are willing to accept that many days may be unski-able. For any serious skier or family planning a dedicated ski trip, look elsewhere in the Alps or Tatras.
