Jezerné ski resort

Jezerné is a micro-resort in the Czech Republic's Zlín Region that suits only the most casual, local skiers or families seeking a gentle, low-commitment introduction to skiing. With just 0.85 km of piste, a 70 m vertical drop, and a single lift, this is not a destination resort - it is a neighbourhood slope. The mountain sits at modest elevation (556-614 m), which explains the abysmal 14/100 snow reliability rating; you will be entirely dependent on artificial snow and favourable winter conditions.

The standout caveat is the day pass price: CZK 1200 is extraordinarily expensive for what amounts to a small local hill with minimal terrain. That cost makes no sense for the product on offer. Off-piste skiing is essentially non-existent (1/5 rating), and the single lift means queues and limited capacity during busy periods. The typical season runs December to March, but given the snow reliability, even those months are unreliable.

We would only recommend Jezerné to locals in the Zlín Region seeking a quick after-work run or families with very young children learning to ski on a gentle slope. International visitors should look elsewhere - the Czech Republic has better-developed resorts, and this hill's pricing and terrain do not justify the journey or expense.
