Ski areál Razula ski resort

Ski areál Razula is a micro-resort suited only to absolute beginners, families with very young children, or locals seeking a convenient practice slope in the Zlín Region. With just 1.2 km of piste and a 200 m vertical drop, this is not a destination resort - it is a training hill. The two lifts and modest elevation gain make it useful for learning the basics or for a quick afternoon session if you live nearby, but there is no terrain to progress to once you have mastered the nursery slopes.

The critical weakness is snow reliability: a rating of 14/100 means you will frequently find yourself on thin cover or artificial snow, especially in a region where natural snowfall is unpredictable. The day pass price of CZK 1200 is extraordinarily expensive for the terrain on offer - this appears to be a per-person rate for a full day, making it poor value compared to any regional alternative. Off-piste is negligible (1/5), so there is no backcountry escape if conditions deteriorate.

We would only recommend Razula if you are a complete beginner with no other option within reasonable driving distance, or if you are testing equipment before a trip to a proper resort. For anyone with intermediate skills or higher, or for families seeking a full day of varied skiing, look elsewhere in the Czech Republic or neighbouring countries.
