Gubaha is a modest regional resort in Russia's Perm Krai, suited to local skiers and those curious about skiing in the Russian Urals rather than international resort-hoppers. With 8.4 km of piste, 263 m of vertical, and a balanced run mix (5 easy, 4 intermediate, 2 advanced), it offers enough variety for a day or two of casual skiing. The nine lifts keep lines manageable, and the December-to-April season is respectable for the region.

The honest caveats are significant: snow reliability is poor (15/100), meaning you're gambling on conditions even in winter months. Off-piste terrain is negligible (1/5 rating), so this is strictly a groomed-run resort. The base elevation of just 178 m leaves the mountain vulnerable to thaw.
