Ключи - Klyuchi ski resort

Klyuchi is a modest local resort in Novosibirsk Oblast that serves the regional skiing community rather than destination travelers. With just 9 km of piste, 70 m of vertical, and two lifts, it is fundamentally a neighborhood hill - useful for beginners and families seeking convenient access to snow, but offering no terrain complexity or challenge for intermediate and advanced skiers. The resort's appeal is purely practical: it exists where snow is reliable (November through April) and urban populations need it.

The honest caveat is stark: this is not a ski destination. The vertical drop of 70 m means runs are short and repetitive. Off-piste terrain is minimal, so there is no escape from the groomed trails. For anyone traveling to Russia specifically to ski, Klyuchi will disappoint. For locals in Novosibirsk seeking a quick snow fix, it fills a gap. International visitors should look elsewhere - or accept that they are visiting a city with a small recreational slope, not a ski resort.
