Medvedie is a modest, local hill in eastern Slovakia suited to beginners and families seeking a low-key day out rather than serious skiers chasing vertical or varied terrain. With just 1.4 km of piste, 136 m of vertical, and an even split of three easy and three intermediate runs, this is a teaching hill and weekend escape for the Prešov region - not a destination resort. The lift infrastructure is adequate for the terrain, and the EUR 48 day pass is reasonably priced for casual users.
