Poráč Park ski resort

Poráč Park is a micro-resort suited to absolute beginners, young children, and locals seeking convenient slope time within the Košice region of Eastern Slovakia. With just 1.9 km of piste, a single lift, and a modest 164 m vertical drop, this is not a destination resort - it is a practice hill. The run variety (two easy runs, one intermediate, one advanced) offers enough to progress from complete novice to early intermediate, and the EUR 48 day pass is genuinely affordable.

The honest caveat is snow reliability, rated at just 17/100, which means you should expect variable conditions and potentially short seasons despite the December-to-April window. Eastern Slovakia's climate is unpredictable, and this low-altitude resort (594 m base) is vulnerable to thaw. There is virtually no off-piste terrain (1/5 rating), so you are entirely dependent on groomed runs. This is a hill for building confidence and technique, not for adventure or serious vertical gain.

We recommend Poráč Park only if you live nearby or are passing through the region and want a quick ski session. For a proper holiday, look elsewhere in the High Tatras or further afield.
