پیست اسکی دربندسر, Darbandsar Ski Resort ski resort

Darbandsar is a compact, accessible ski resort that suits intermediate skiers and families looking for affordable mountain time in Iran. At just 9 km of piste and 885 m of vertical, it's intimate rather than sprawling - think a day or two of skiing, not a week-long destination. The strength here is value: a USD 10 day pass is genuinely cheap, and the base elevation of 2634 m with a top of 3518 m sits in decent snow territory. The run mix of 5 easy and 4 intermediate slopes keeps things manageable, and six lifts mean reasonable queues for a small resort.

The honest caveats matter. Snow reliability at 60/100 is middling - you're banking on December through April, and there will be lean spells. The off-piste rating of 2/5 signals limited backcountry appeal; this is a groomed-run operation. The piste area is genuinely small, so repeat visitors will exhaust the terrain quickly. For skiers based in Tehran or passing through Iran, Darbandsar offers a convenient mountain break. For international ski tourists, it's a curiosity rather than a destination - useful context if you're already in the region, but not worth a special trip.
