پیست اسکی افوس, Afus Ski Resort ski resort

Afus is a no-frills, beginner-focused micro-resort in Isfahan Province that suits families, learners, and anyone seeking an affordable, low-pressure introduction to skiing in Iran. With just 0.6 km of piste, one lift, and a modest 116 m vertical, this is not a destination for progression or varied terrain - it is a teaching hill, pure and simple. The appeal lies in accessibility: at USD 10 a day, it is genuinely cheap, the season runs reliably from December through April, and snow reliability is marked as very good, which matters in a region where winter conditions can be unpredictable.

The honest caveats are substantial. There is virtually no off-piste opportunity (1/5 rating), no terrain variety, and the vertical is barely enough for a warm-up run on most European resorts. This is not a place to spend a week; it is a half-day or day trip, ideally combined with Isfahan's cultural attractions. Expect basic facilities, minimal English signage, and a local crowd. If you are seeking adventure, challenging skiing, or international resort infrastructure, look elsewhere. If you are a beginner in Iran, a family wanting a gentle outing, or a curious traveler wanting to tick off an unusual ski destination, Afus delivers exactly what it promises at a price that cannot be beaten.
