Ski Resorts with Short Transfers from the Airport
Big ski areas you can reach in 90 minutes or less by road from a major airport. Short transfers mean more time on the slopes on arrival day, fewer travel-sick children, and cheaper taxis.
How we worked out the transfer times
Drive times are calculated on OpenStreetMap road data with the OSRM routing engine, from each gateway airport to every resort, in normal driving conditions. Each resort is listed against its quickest airport. Real transfers take longer when it snows, when shared shuttles make several drops, and on busy Saturday changeover days, so treat these as the best case.
Which resorts are included
Well-known ski areas in the Alps and Pyrenees with at least 50 km of pistes and an airport within 90 minutes by road. For every resort near a particular airport, see our ski airport guides.
