Cambasi is a tiny, niche resort in Turkey's Ordu region that suits only the most adventurous budget travellers or those seeking a genuine off-the-beaten-path experience. With just 2.8 km of piste and 248 m of vertical, this is not a destination for serious skiers or families wanting variety - it's barely a warm-up lap at a proper resort. The appeal lies entirely in novelty and accessibility: you can ski in Turkey without flying to the Anatolian heartland, and the mountain sits at a reasonable 1756-2004 m elevation.

The honest caveats are substantial. Snow reliability is mediocre at best (41/100), meaning you may well arrive to thin cover or rain, especially in shoulder months. The day pass at TRY 800 is shockingly expensive for the terrain on offer - that's premium-resort pricing for a beginner slope. Off-piste is rated 1/5, so there's no backcountry escape if conditions disappoint. With only two lifts and minimal terrain, you'll exhaust the mountain in a morning. This works only as a novelty add-on to a broader Turkey trip, not as a standalone ski holiday.

We'd recommend Cambasi only if you're already in the region, want a quick ski fix, and have realistic expectations about what a 2.8 km resort delivers. Otherwise, your money and time are better spent at established Turkish resorts or heading to the Alps.
