Χιονοδρομικό Κέντρο Περτουλίου, Pertouli Ski Resort ski resort

Pertouli is a tiny, beginner-focused resort in central Greece that suits families with young children, school groups, or anyone seeking a casual, low-pressure introduction to skiing in an unexpected Mediterranean location. Its four easy runs and modest 161 m vertical drop mean there is virtually no challenge for intermediate or advanced skiers, and the variable snow reliability (17/100) means you should treat visits here as a bonus rather than a guaranteed winter outing.

The resort's main strength is accessibility and affordability - a EUR 28 day pass is genuinely cheap, and the gentle terrain makes it ideal for nervous beginners or kids taking their first turns. The typical December-to-April season window is reasonable for southern Europe. However, the 1.6 km of piste is extremely limited, and you will exhaust the terrain in a morning. Snow conditions are unreliable at this elevation (1178-1340 m), so plan around weather forecasts rather than assuming coverage.

This is not a destination resort. We recommend Pertouli only if you are already in Thessaly and want a half-day family outing, or if you are a school group needing a controlled learning environment. For any serious skiing, look elsewhere in the Alps or Balkans.
