Area Sciistica Cerreto Laghi ski resort

Cerreto Laghi is a modest, intermediate-friendly resort in the northern Apennines that suits families and casual skiers seeking a short break without the crowds or expense of major Alpine destinations. With 8.3 km of piste, three lifts, and a comfortable 494 m vertical, it punches above its weight as a local favourite - the terrain is genuinely well-balanced, with 11 intermediate runs offering proper variety and just enough easy terrain for learners. The EUR 55 day pass is refreshingly affordable, and the season runs reliably from December through April.

The honest caveat: this is not a destination resort. Snow reliability sits at 40/100, meaning you'll want to check conditions before committing, and the single advanced run won't challenge strong skiers. Off-piste is essentially non-existent (1/5 rating), so this is pure groomed-run territory. The vertical is modest by Alpine standards, and you'll ski the same terrain repeatedly if you stay more than a day or two. Cerreto Laghi works brilliantly as a weekend escape from Emilia-Romagna or a stepping stone for intermediate skiers building confidence, but it's not a week-long destination.

We'd recommend it for Italian families, intermediate skiers wanting accessible terrain, and anyone prioritising value and convenience over scale. Go when snow is good, keep expectations realistic, and you'll find a charming, unpretentious mountain experience.
