Goule is a micro-resort suited only to absolute beginners, young children, or those seeking a novelty day out in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region. With just 0.5 km of piste, 84 m of vertical, and two lifts, this is not a destination for anyone seeking meaningful skiing or snowboarding. The resort's variable snow reliability (19/100) means you'll often find yourself hoping for adequate coverage rather than enjoying it.

The honest caveat: at EUR 60 per adult day pass, you're paying full-price lift fees for what amounts to a training slope. There is virtually no off-piste terrain (1/5 rating), so don't expect any adventure beyond the groomed runs. Goule works as a local hill for nearby families or as a stepping stone for toddlers learning to ski, but it has no appeal for intermediate or advanced skiers, and even beginners will exhaust the terrain in under an hour.

If you're in the Bourgogne region and want proper skiing, you'll need to travel to larger Alpine resorts. Goule's only real strength is convenience and accessibility for the immediate local community during the December-to-April season.
