Hafjell is a solid mid-sized Norwegian resort suited to intermediate skiers and families seeking reliable Scandinavian snow without the crowds or expense of the Alps. With 38.5 km of piste and an 835 m vertical drop across 18 lifts, it offers enough terrain to sustain a long weekend, though not a week-long expedition. The season runs November to May, giving it a genuine winter window and consistent base.
