Krasiya - КРАСИЯ ski resort

Krasiya is a tiny, budget-conscious resort in western Ukraine that suits adventurous skiers on a shoestring budget or those curious about skiing in an underexplored corner of Europe. With just 5.4 km of piste, a single easy run, and six intermediate slopes, it's a resort for a day trip or a short break rather than a week-long destination. The 600 m vertical drop is modest, and the three-lift system means you'll spend more time queuing than skiing if conditions are busy.

The honest caveat is snow reliability - at 13/100, Krasiya is unreliable. Winters in Zakarpattia are variable, and you'll need to time your visit carefully or be prepared for thin cover and artificial snow. Off-piste is essentially non-existent (1/5 rating), so this is a piste-only operation. The UAH 1200 day pass is steep for what's on offer, making it poor value compared to established resorts in the Carpathians or beyond.

Krasiya works as a novelty or a local's hill, but it's not worth planning a dedicated ski holiday around. Go if you're in the region anyway, conditions look promising, and you want bragging rights - not if you're serious about skiing.
