The 1469 m vertical drop and 36.9 km of pistes are respectable, with a balanced run menu of 17 easy and 15 intermediate runs. The 22 lifts suggest good access and short queues. However, this is not a destination for serious skiers or off-piste adventurers - the off-piste rating of 1/5 is essentially non-existent, and snow reliability at 29/100 is a significant weakness that will leave you frustrated in lean years.

The real caveat is the day pass price: RUB 3500 is extraordinarily expensive, positioning Gazprom as a premium resort despite moderate terrain and unreliable snow. This pricing suggests the resort caters to wealthy domestic visitors and corporate groups rather than value-conscious international skiers. Unless you have deep pockets and are specifically drawn to the Russian Caucasus experience, you will find far better value and more reliable snow in the Alps or Pyrenees for similar money.
