Миньяр is a tiny, local resort in Russia's Chelyabinsk Oblast that suits budget-conscious skiers and families looking for a no-frills day out rather than a serious ski holiday. With just 3 km of piste, a modest 188 m vertical drop, and four lifts serving seven runs across all abilities, this is a neighbourhood hill masquerading as a resort. The run variety is reasonable for its size - three easy, two intermediate, and two advanced options - but there's nowhere near enough terrain to occupy an intermediate skier for more than a few hours.

The real caveat is snow reliability: at a moderate rating of 24/100, Миньяр sits at low elevation (base 171 m) in a region where winter snow is inconsistent. You'll want to check conditions before driving out, and plan for potential closures or thin coverage. The off-piste rating of 1/5 confirms this is a groomed-run-only operation. That said, the day pass at RUB 3500 is genuinely cheap, and the November-to-April season window is generous for the region.
