Club ski Beauce ski resort

Club Ski Beauce is a micro-resort suited to absolute beginners and families seeking a low-pressure introduction to skiing within easy reach of Quebec City. With just 2 km of terrain, a single lift, and a modest 67 m vertical drop, this is not a destination for serious skiers or anyone seeking varied terrain. The run mix - one easy, three intermediate, and four advanced - suggests ambition beyond what the mountain's size can realistically deliver, and the single lift will create bottlenecks during busy periods.

The critical weakness is snow reliability, rated at a dismal 10/100. Quebec's variable winters mean you'll frequently find yourself on thin cover or artificial snow, which undermines the entire skiing experience. The CAD 145 day pass is expensive for what amounts to a practice slope, making this poor value compared to larger regional alternatives. Off-piste potential is minimal despite a 2/5 rating - there simply isn't enough terrain to explore.

We'd recommend Club Ski Beauce only as a convenient local hill for Quebec residents wanting a quick ski fix, or for absolute beginners who need a confidence-building session before heading to proper mountains. For anyone traveling to Quebec specifically to ski, invest the drive time to reach larger resorts with better snow and terrain variety. This is a hill, not a destination.
