Tokusagamine is a micro-resort in Yamaguchi Prefecture that suits only the most niche skiers - primarily locals seeking convenient, low-commitment runs or families with young children who want a gentle introduction to skiing. With just 1.2 km of piste, a single lift, and a 115 m vertical drop, this is not a destination resort. The three runs (two easy, one intermediate) offer minimal variety, and the off-piste rating of 1/5 means there is essentially no backcountry skiing here.

The honest caveat is snow reliability: rated 0/100, which reflects Yamaguchi's southern position and relatively warm winters. You cannot count on consistent snow cover, making this a gamble even during the official December-to-May season. The day pass at JPY 6000 is expensive for what amounts to a training slope.
