Nowa Morawa ski resort

Nowa Morawa is a micro-resort in Poland's Lower Silesian region, and we need to be direct: this is not a destination for serious skiers. With just 0.4 km of piste and an 86 m vertical drop, it is essentially a beginner's practice slope rather than a proper ski area. The elevation range (628–715 m) sits at the mercy of Central European weather, and the snow reliability rating of 16/100 tells you everything - this is a place where snow cover is sporadic and unpredictable across the December-to-March season.

That said, Nowa Morawa has a narrow but genuine use case: it suits families with very young children taking their first turns, or locals seeking a quick, low-commitment outing when conditions align. The PLN 130 day pass is steep for what you get, making it poor value compared to larger Polish resorts or nearby Czech and Slovak alternatives. The 1/5 off-piste rating confirms there is nothing beyond the groomed slope.

Our honest caveat: do not plan a ski holiday around Nowa Morawa. Treat it only as a supplementary option if you are based nearby and conditions are favourable. For any serious skiing, look south to the Tatras or west to the Sudetes proper.
