Fajtův kopec is a beginner-focused hill in the Czech Vysočina region, suited to families with young children, school groups, and skiers taking their first turns on snow. It is emphatically not a destination resort - rather, a local training slope with modest infrastructure and a 65-meter vertical that you can lap in minutes. The hill's strength is its accessibility and affordability for casual learners within the region, plus a full roster of easy runs that pose no intimidation to novices.

The honest caveats are substantial. Snow reliability here is moderate at best (26/100), meaning you'll face frequent closures or thin coverage during marginal winters. The 1.1 km of piste is genuinely tiny - this is a practice hill, not a place to build serious mileage or technique. Off-piste terrain is negligible. The day pass at CZK 1200 is steep for what amounts to a few runs, and the season window (December to March) is narrow and weather-dependent in this region.
