Mosty u Jablunkova ski resort

Mosty u Jablunkova is a tiny, local hill in the Czech borderlands - not a destination resort. With just 1.6 km of piste, 144 m of vertical, and a single lift, this is a neighbourhood slope for families and beginners living within 30 minutes' drive. The four runs (one easy, three intermediate) offer gentle terrain suitable for learning, and the modest elevation means snow is unreliable at best - expect frequent closures or thin cover during the December-to-March season. Off-piste is non-existent (1/5 rating).

The critical issue is value: CZK 1200 for an adult day pass is extraordinarily expensive for what amounts to a practice hill. That price point suggests either a data error or a resort in severe financial distress. For comparison, major Alpine resorts charge CZK 50-70 daily. At this rate, even a local would struggle to justify a visit. Mosty u Jablunkova suits only those with zero other options - perhaps a school group or someone testing equipment - and only if the pass price is corrected or heavily discounted.

Skip this entirely unless you live in the immediate area and the pass is genuinely affordable. For any serious skiing, head to the High Tatras in Slovakia (2-3 hours away) or the Krkonoše Mountains further north in Czechia. This is not a ski holiday destination.
