    MAJAsport ski resort

MAJAsport is a beginner-focused micro-resort in the Czech Republic's Hradec Králové Region, suited only to absolute novices seeking a gentle introduction to skiing or families with very young children on a tight budget. With just 0.5 km of piste, 83 m of vertical, and a single lift, this is not a destination for progression or variety - it is a local training slope masquerading as a resort.

The honest caveat is brutal: snow reliability here is poor (18/100), meaning you will frequently find yourself on thin cover or artificial snow during the December-to-March season. The CZK 1200 day pass is shockingly expensive for what amounts to a nursery slope, making this poor value even by European standards. There is no off-piste terrain to speak of, and the single lift will create bottlenecks on busy days.

We would only recommend MAJAsport if you live locally and need a convenient spot to teach a child to snowplough, or if you are researching Central European ski infrastructure. For any serious skier, or anyone traveling from abroad, this resort will disappoint within an hour. Look instead to the Krkonoše Mountains further north, where Czech skiing actually happens.
